Pioneered by Pastor Buddy Walker, Empower School & Farms located in Umatilla, Florida, strives to equip the next generation to succeed in life, ministry and service. At Empower, young people live in Christian community for three months to one year while gaining experience and skills equipping them for spiritual growth and future ministry. Our programs focus on discipleship, farming, social justice, and world missions. Students live and learn together while fully engaged in a discipleship-focused environment. 

Our Gap year program includes: School of Discipleship and School of Missions, each with 12-weeks of outreach where participants experience ministry in practical ways, while doing a guided independent study, and being mentored towards their goals and objectives. Participants have opportunities to be involved with local, national and international outreaches.

Empower internship programs host interns for 3-6 month at a time, while they gain experience and learn specific skills areas such as: agriculture, leadership, and community development.
